SEA Games Torch Arrives in Myanmar

MYANMAR: The 2023 SEA Games torch arrived in Yangon, Myanmar on the morning of 19 April 2023, while the official torch relay will be held on 21 April.

Myanmar is the eighth country to host the torch after Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, East Timor, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam. Laos will be the final ASEAN country to host the torch before its return to Cambodia.

The torch will travel from Laos to Cambodia via the Stung Treng province on 27 April. Its procession will then continue in the provinces bordering the Tonle Sap Lak. It will travel from Stung Treng to Kratie on 28 April and then on to Kampong Chhnang on 29 April. After circling the Tonle Sap Lake it is set to arrive at the Morodok Techo National Stadium to inaugurate the SEA-Para Games on 5 May.
